Zany classical music teacher, Audie Booker (Terry Ballard) is looking for love wherever she can find it. Musician/teacher, Bernard P. "Skillet" Mahoney (Ken Crutchfield) is looking to avoid love at all costs unless it's fried chicken or Jazz music. Skillet and Booker are hilarious in this fast-paced romantic comedy as they come face to face with all aspects of "matters of the heart".
MATTERS OF THE HEART has been entertaining people since April 2014 and is an ongoing show of hilarity and fun. Skillet and Booker have performed at events both formal and informal, bringing laughter and entertainment to family reunions, church events, award shows and comedy clubs in NYC. Audience members who have seen the show have compared this husband and wife funny to the comedy of Desi and Lucy.
